I am eternally grateful that the Spirit of the Lord gave me my own personal witness that the message the missionaries delivered to me was of divine nature, and that if I were to be obedient to the things I learned for myself to be true, I would be blessed beyond measure.
I was so thankful to have learned such a vital piece of information because it helped me to realize that there is so much more to life than our mortal existence!

I believe that sometimes we have the assumption that being a faithful and active member of the Church is too complicated and challenging. As a matter of fact, being faithful to God is one of the simplest of all lifestyles if we allow it to be.
This is where the moment climaxed for me. After all that had happened today, beginning with expecting nothing more than to feel honoured to be part of the security team for President Nelson and his travel companions, and receiving more than I ever could have dreamed or imagined, this was the moment I will never forget...the moment that will forever be etched in my mind and heart.
I have suffered miscarriages, loneliness, fear, job loss, illnesses, and even some other personal struggles. It was and is scary when we have to go through any kind of trial. Being "broken" can hurt us, discourage us, and even shock us.
When we put our hearts and our minds to serving and giving the way Jesus has counseled us to do, the gift we give also becomes a gift we receive.
